Glen Meadows Park
Project Overview
Water play is both refreshing and interactive at this L-shaped splash pad at Glen Meadows Park in Hamburg, New York. The 9-foot tall, manipulative HydroHelix in the center of the action invites kids to twist and turn water streams from above into complex patterns that sprinkle those below. A SprayStacker provides more cause-and effect play, as kids can turn and hold buttons to watch water pressure build and explode out the top. Two JetStreams use a plunger effect to squirt water and “tag” friends in a playful game. At the far end of the park, a towering VersoSplash® is an unexpected surprise, as it fills with water from above and spills a refreshing gush on a crowd of eagerly awaiting bathers. Multiple ground sprays provide unique and varying tactile water play experiences, and there’s a special area for younger visitors to explore at a slower pace. This creative splash pad at Glen Meadows Park is a delight to bathers looking to both cool off and interact.
