Project Overview

The VersoSplash® is the feature of this splash pad design, and kids love the unexpected splash of it. The bucket dumps in the opposite direction while the water spills forward. While the VersoSplash dumps, the splash pad at Jayne Park also offers lots of ground sprays like the Stream Jet, Arch Jet, Curvy Jet Manifold, Crown Jet, Triple Arch Jet, Junior Water Jewel and Sea Crawler and shoot high into the sky. Even more, kids choose what happens with the SprayStacker, surround themselves with the SprayShroud, go again and again through the WaterWay, and engage their imaginations with the SplashPack Seal and SplashPack Lion.

Video features the outdoor Aquatix splash pad by Landscape Structures at Jayne Park in Detroit Michigan.

[video: scene fades into a full slightly elevated panning view around a splash pad as water sprays and streams from it’s multiply water activities. Camera switches to a ground view across the splash pad as water sprays from ground sprayers, posts, animal sculptures and a large water dump bucket. The camera focuses on the large yellow dump bucket as it tips and a large wave of water crashes down onto the splash zone. Camera switches to an elevated view of the yellow dump bucket as it fills with water. The camera slowly rotates around the dump bucket as it begins to tilt. It empties onto the oval acrylic piece just below the bucket making the water flow down in a large wave. Scene switches to a ground panning view across the splash pad as water sprays in many different directions from multiply water play activities. The camera focuses on the back of a blue seal sculpture spraying water out from either nostril. The camera focuses on the seal sculptures head as water streams from either nostril. The camera pulls back for a full view of the blue seal sculpture spraying water from its nostrils and the tip of his tale. The camera focuses with a side view of the seals head as water flows from the nostrils in slow motion. Scene fades out and back into a boy running through the spraying water from multiple activities in slow motion. Scene fades out and back into the boy as he stands in an archway as water rains down on his head. Scene fades out and back into a view across the park to the blue seal structure as it continues to spray water in slow motion. A wave of water crashing down in the background from the dump bucket. The screen fades to white and blue animated rain drops fall in the center of the screen. As the droplets fall the Aquatix logo appears. The Aquatix logo slides slightly to the left as a black line appears to the right of the logo. A second logo appears on the right reading “Penchura”. Screen fades to black and the video ends.]
