Bear Branch Park

John: There was a master plan for the Bear Branch Park here, and as part of one of it, our board of directors wanted an aquatic feature to be added.

John voiceover: So, what we wanted to do with something different than what we have. We have five other spray grounds, but this would be a destination spray ground. It’s busy every day that we’ve been open.

John voiceover: It’s perfect for the woodlands. We have the trees, we have the pinecone, that is the symbol of the woodlands. We even have the eagle that comes to Lake Woodlands. So, the theming is very important. Everything’s been smooth, you know. This is amazing, it’s still vibrant looking, it’s been well perceived.
