Gratiot Park

Video features the outdoor Aquatix splash pad by Landscape Structures at Gratiot Park in Port Huron Michigan.

[video: scene fades into an elevated view of a neighborhood park with a playground and circular splash pad all designed into one. Camera switches to a bird’s eye view of the circular splash pad. A boy presses the activation button on the center green post and water begins to spray from many different ground sprayers. Camera slowly pans around the splash pad as a boy and girl play in the water. More children join in to play in the water. Camera pans left to right across the splash pad as water shoots out from the ground in different areas. Children walk through the water as families play on the nearby playground in the background. A young boy jumps up and down excitedly in the streams of water creating a circle around him. The boy flaps his hands around in the water in slow motion as he plays. A boy presses the water activation button, children run to the ground sprayers as the pressure helps the streams to rise higher. A young boy in a lime green sun shirt cautiously walks towards some water streams. A boy with long hair runs in slow motion from one stream of water to the next. Two girls play in the water clapping their hands in it and then running away. A girl stands in the center of a circle ground sprayer. Children walk around and through the streams of water from the different ground sprayers. With a view across the whole splash pad, children play all over in the streams of water. Scene fades out and back into a girl as she smiles for the camera. Scene fades out and back into a girl as she squints while water sprays her. A girl dangles her hair over a ground sprayer, the water shoots up making her hair dance around. Scene switches to a full view of the splash pad next to the park playground. A few children play on the splash pad. Scene fades out and back into a girl walking in slow motion towards some streams of water. With her arms raised she jumps and smiles for the camera. A girl walks past the camera shyly smiling, her face painting slowly wiping off from the water. Scene fades out and back into children playing all over the splash pad. Scene fades out and back into a boy as he stands there smiling and waving to the camera. Scene fades out and back into a girl as she gives the peace sign with both hands and a large smile on her face. Scene fades out and back into a full side view of the splash pad. A mother pushes her daughter in a wheelchair around the perimeter of the splash pad. Screen begins to fade to white as blue animated raindrops fall in the center. As the droplets fall the Aquatix logo appears. The Aquatix logo slides slightly to the left as a black line appears to the right of the logo. A second logo appears on the right reading “Penchura”. Screen fades to black and video ends.]
