Freedom Park

Project Overview

Freedom Park in Ridgecrest, California features a custom FlashFlood that surprises spashers below with a rush of water from above. The two interactive JetStreams entices kids to spray and splash. While kids of all ages spash and run in the water, parents and caretakers can keep cool in the shade and the fun can last for hours.

Camera switches to a full aerial view of the Slash Pad and children playing below with SkyWays shade systems surrounding the play area. Camera switches to an elevated view of children playing at the different interactive water play activates of the Freedom Park splash pad. Scene switches as the camera pans around a boy as he pulls back the nozzle of a JetStream water cannon. The camera pulls away he turns his canon to spray his friend across from him. The camera continues to walk around another boy playing at a third JetStream canon as they all spray each other. Scene switches to four children as they jump up and down in the water spraying up from ground sprayers. More children run over to play with them with the water jet streams. Camera switches to an elevated view of a boy sitting in the center of a Mini Upward Spray Ring. A young girl near boy walks arched on

her hands and feet upside down. Children play all around at the JetStream water cannons and other ground sprayers. Girl: This splash pad is really fun, I love how there’s that thing.

Camera switches to a vertical pan of the FlashFlood dump bucket designed with an American flag as it drenches a group of children standing beneath it. Scene switches to a view across the splash pad as children play at the different activities and stand under the FlashFlood dump bucket dropping a load of water. Scene switches to a group of children standing under and getting drenched by the water of the FlashFlood dump bucket. Some children cover their faces as others hold up peace signs and make heart with their hands for the camera. Camera switches to an elevated view of the FlashFlood dump bucket as it continues to rain down on a group of children below. Scene fades to a view of two boys playing with the JetStream water cannons. Scene fades to children walking through and standing underneath the FlashFlood dump bucket as is showers down water. Scene fades to a woman as she holds onto her baby boy and sits with a little girl at a ground bubbler. The little girl plays in the bubble water of the sprayer as the mother dunks her son’s feet into it as well. Scene fades to a young girl as she poses and smiles for the camera. Scene fades to a group of children standing under the showering water of the FlashFlood dump bucket. A handful of the children dance as the water rains down.
