Project Overview
Water flow comes from above, below and sideways in this whimsical interactive splash pad at the Randal Tyson Recreational Complex that offers something for every child. Not one, not two, but three overhead buckets will randomly dump water on those below from the Mini FlashFlood and BucketDuo with Acrylic, causing squeals of surprise and delight. Nearby, curious experimenters will flock to the AquaGather Station, which provides interactive spots for playing with water flow. An Upward Spray Ring is the center point of the area, spurting twenty-two vertical streams and drawing curious splashers to play inside and outside the circle. So many ground sprays create an enticing obstacle course for children to splash from here to there. Fan Sprays, Geysers, Misting Sprays, Stream Jets and Stream Jet Triangles all contribute to the fun. Side Wall Streams create another way to play, as they emit a stream of water from the concrete benches at the edges of the pad. Elegant SkyWays® triangle sails bookend the space at Randal Tyson Recreational Complex offering visual beauty and an option to take a break from the sun.
