Project Overview
The vibrant colors of sun, sand and water come out to play in this refreshing seaside splash pad at Waterside Park in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The towering VersoSplash® unpredictably dumps water from its overhead orange bucket, splashing excited bathers below, while a variety of ground sprays create a spectrum of splashable sensations at floor level. The Arch Jet manifold offers a sensory experience that is different than the Bubbler, Water Jewel or the intermittent leaps of the Jumping Stream Jet, and children can explore from one to the next. Interactive water play can be found in two HydroSpheres and a pair of JetStreams, which invite children to direct and aim the water stream, transforming splash play into a game of tag. Cheerful yellow and orange SkyWays® shade structures provide sun protection, and a nearby Landscape Structures playground lets the fun continue on dry land.
